Cherry Hospital is a 284-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving the citizens of 33 Eastern, North Carolina counties. They are operated by the state of North Carolina, the Department of Health and Human Services. In order to be consideration by Cherry Hospital, you must complete the Cherry Interview.

Central Regional Hospital – Butner, NC
The hospital is presently 611 beds that service the 16 counties of the North Central Region. The hospital's primary purpose is to provide an inpatient facility to diagnose and treat persons with psychiatric disorders, to restore them to an optimal level of functioning, and to return them to the community. This service is provided for clients' age 6 years and up.

Memo Regarding Levels of Observation 1:1
All Nurses must agree to the terms of Red Dot Coverage prior to assignment at this facility. Nurses will be assigned one red dot shift per week to assist in guaranteeing appropriate coverage. If the Agency Nurse has a red dot by their name and someone calls off for the oncoming shift and the absence causes the shift to go below the safe minimum numbers, the nurse with the red dot will have to stay and work that shift.

Central Regional Hospital – Raleigh, NC
Central Regional Hospital (CRH) - Raleigh Campus serves as the regional psychiatric hospital for the 16-county South Central Region of the Department of Health and Human Services. In collaboration with community-based mental health programs, we provide evaluation, treatment and rehabilitative services for the mentally ill. Neurological, as well as medical and surgical services are provided upon referral from other state facilities in the North Central, Eastern, and South Central regions.
