Unit Description: Busy one room lab with another under construction. Must have interventional Cath Lab exp. Equipment: Witt for hemodynamics. Scrub exp. not req. Procedures: Heart caths, ICD insertions/checks, Pacemaker insertions, Emergent and elective PCI, peripheral, carotid, renal PTA/stents, pre/post holding to include sheath pulls, IABP insertions, IVUS (just starting, exp. not req.), do some Radiology Special Procedures: Nephrostomy, biliary stents, IVC filters.
RN requirement w/Radiology Special Procedures is Witt documentation and patient monitoring/conscious sedation
*this list is not all inclusive but will meet the majority of procedures done
24 hour on call required on a rotational basis
Must be able to stay beyond 12 hours if the need arises (not often, but not predictable)
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
